1.My Father, who was not there (This short story is dedicated to the care-givers of Dementia patients) My father was my best friend. He was somebody on whom I had relied upon, in almost every situation. He was the one who gave me great advice so that I could succeed in almost every aspect of my life. My mother had died many years ago and he was the only one I had. He had helped me to choose the companies that I worked with. He was always the first one to accept my eccentric choices in life. He was the apple of my eye. He was a doting father. He had retired from service, ten years ago. Every day, he had the habit of waiting for me to return from work. He was always there, at the gates of our small bungalow – waiting for me.
