 *The Death of a Dream*  My dream died recently, Disappeared like dwindling dreary dew drops, Burning away at the break, Of a daunting dawn, Bludgeoned away by the bilious Sun, The dream had awakened short-lived hopes, The dream felt real, Though just a dream surreal, Its timely demise caused no misery, Short lived happiness was what was meant to be, Its realisation would have meant only devastation, And endless tribulations, Am much glad that my dream died early, Without taking me to the cemetery, The Truth be said, That my unwanted dream is dead, Actually, makes me happy!!  *S.Padmapriya*
