Poem: O' krishna!

 ‘O' Krishna!

A Poem

Every day, challenges gush,

Into the lake of our lives....

From an unseen divine waterfall,

Comes streaming in - stones, pebbles,

Sand particles, insects and amphibians -

Debilitating us! Still, bringing with them,

Life affirming wondrous waters!

'O' Krishna, is it one of your many tricks?

Do you love to see people suffer?

Or do you make us suffer so that

We know you?

What is ‘Leela’ for you,

Is for the ‘Jeevatmas’,

Playing with their hearts!

Today is your birthday,

What gift can a mortal give you?

But I have not come to give,

I have come to supplicate!

Fill our human lives with more joy,

And fewer shadows of pain!

You are the river of compassion,

The God, who grants infinite boons,

'O' Krishna!
