Love Forever (A love poem)

 Love Forever


I breathe the same air that you do,

I see the same stars that you do,

I touch the same trees that you do,

I share my home, the earth with you.



I know our lips won’t kiss,

Our hands won’t conjoin,

Two will never be one,

I know they never will.


Yet, when we leave the earth,

Your dust and mine will leave it together,

They will intermingle like milk and honey,

And remain so forever!
