Malabar Giant Squirrel
Oh! Giant squirrel,
You sleep so well,
Dangling yet not falling,
You are like a star frolicking,
The brown trunk camouflaging,
Your brown body and un- brown thoughts,
Against none having any grudge holdings,
Dear dark brown giant lilliput darling,
Sweetly serene as a new born charming,
Ambassador of sweetness and freshness,
Young lord of the hills and forests,
Little giant sleeping,
Eating nuts and fruits in freedom,
Fun loving furry fidgeting friend,
No deep sorrows or heartbreaks,
Nothing to drown the happy spirit,
Little giant sleeping squirrel,
I know you will see me,
In your dreams,
A poet writing about dreamy dark squirrels,
In joyous abandon in carefree hours.
