   Flash fiction is a fictional work of extreme brevity that still offers character and plot development. Its word count usually ranges from 5 to 1,000 words  It is also called as a micro-story or nanotale.

 The Breaking of the Bastille Long ago, The Bastille was broken; Out emerged warriors of freedom, Chanting, ‘liberty, equality, fraternity’. Years later, Terror has struck human hearts! Humans live half-dead, And sleep half- alive; Fear is rampant here and there, Fear must be trampled, everywhere. Let us strive to reach heights, phenomenal, Making lives, sensational, Dreams come true, It takes dreams to make the truth happen.
